After many trips to some of Europes' cider heartlands and seeing the popularity of the drink, two friends, Antoine and Frédéric, decided to create a 100% natural Swiss Cider to to bring the cider goodness home.

ApfelWerk

A family project sprung from a crazy idea in 2018, ApfelWerk was born to bring quality regional produce to a modern audience. Jeffrey, Jeremy, Maja, Manuel, and Nicole have worked together with local Swiss Fruit growers in the Berner Seeland to create a fresh, aromatic, elegent Cider.

The result of 5 guys and a load of apples in the heart of Aargau, and it worked out. Finding a passion for making Cider, they were soon making more than could be personally consumed, and so Backstabber Cider was born. 

Based on the shores of Lake Geneva and working alongside local orchardists, the pair of David and Lee ferment, mature, and bottle their fine table ciders by hand. The ciders which they produce provide great interest and are a fantastic alternative to white wines, in fact why not substitute wine for cider with your next fondue.

Brasserie du Chàteau

Cider Fairy

Ranka Feller discovered her love for Cider on trips to Ireland and Scotland, and then returned to home in Switzerland to discover a lack of choices. However, being married to a long time home brewer, the decision to start experimenting and make her own Cider was obvious. The Cider Fairy was born.

The result of the coming together of four friends, some higher education experiments with fermentation and a passion for local apples. Andrea, Carlo, Laura and Robin now find themselves as the premier Cider producers of Switzerland's most populous canton, Zürich.

Mosterei Möhl AG

Despite being one of Switzerland's largest Mosterei, Möhl own only one apple tree. No, this is not some magic tree producing a never ending supply of apples, instead, Möhl has grown by working with and supporting local fruit growers, thus being able to fully focus on creating their line up of drinks. This focus shows, as Möhl have become pioneers in the area of pressed apples, building on the popularity of their Saft vom Fass, to create a diverse lineup of Cider for all tastes.

Ramseier have grown from humble roots to become Switzerlands largest juice company today. Well known for their juice and Schorle, their Suure Moscht is also a favourite with young and old. Their distinctive bottles and emblem can be found from Gevena to Graubunden.

The two Hössli brothers have taken it upon themselves to renew the traditions of old by using the produce of their grandparents ancient orchards in Aargau to produce a range of fine Ciders which match perfectly with fine food, and friends.
